What to do at Cythera?

• Take a walk around the Chora. It is in the center of the island. It has alleys and white houses and manors. As you go up, you get closer to the venetian castle of the island on its peak. 
• Set off to Milopotamos. A traditional village, loyal to its morals and customs, forgotten by time, stuck in a different era. The road from there will lead you to the Fonisa Waterfalls. A dreamlike scenery right out from a fairytale. 
• The routes to the beaches are quite long and you will certainly come across several village on the way. Take small breaks for a cup of Greek coffee and local sweets. Mitata should go on your list, along with the fishing village Avlemonas, Karavas and Potamos. 
• Visit the Archeological Museum at the Chora. 
• Take a walk on the stone bridge at Katouni, one of the most impressive monuments on the island.
